Patsy Maude
Miller
November 11, 1934 – December 19, 2021
Patsy Maude Miller, 87, of Denton TX passed away of natural causes on December 19, 2021 in Denton. She was born in Abbot, Texas on November 11, 1934 to Ernest and Maude (Greenhill) Young.
Patsy Young Miller graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1952 in Baytown, TX and married Kenneth R. Miller, May 21, 1954. They were married for 67 years and together they loved entertaining family and friends. Patsy worked for Winn's, the phone company as a switch board operator, secretary for a real estate company, and alongside Kenneth in his career but her favorite job was working the shop at Cracker Barrel and meeting all the people that came through. Patsy loved her sisters, grandkids, family and all whom she met. She was a great cook and liked nothing more than being in the kitchen with her grandkids and will be remembered for her dinner and cinnamon rolls, chocolate and pecan pies and Christmas candies. She was raised to honor and serve God and was a faithful member of the church of Christ. Patsy wanted to be remembered most for her love for Jesus Christ and serving others to His glory not her own.
She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Ray Miller of Denton, son, Kenneth Miller II and wife, Carla of Nacogdoches, daughter, Vicki Windham and husband, David of Denton, 3 granddaughters, Jennifer and husband Cody Young, Briana Windham, Melissa Anderson and husband Brian, great-grandchildren, Abigail, Blake, Keira, Alissa, Bryce, Carter, Carson, Landon, McKinley, Katie and Kylie, six sisters, Virgie Bell, Frances Smith, Jeanette Page, Betty Herring and husband Tommie, Elaine Murff and Anita McDonald and many nieces and nephews.
