Paul Wayne Daniels, 72 of Denton went to be with his Lord on March 30, 2021 at his home. He was born on April 19, 1948 in McKinney, Texas to Charles and Juanita (Boughton) Daniels.

He graduated from Denton High School in 1967, He served in the United States Army in Vietnam achieving the rank of Sargent and received a purple heart and a bronze star. He spent the majority of his career working in construction.

He married Melba (Davidson)Burdine on March 24, 1978 in Denton, Texas. He was a member of Central Baptist Church where he loved working with preschoolers. He was a lifetime member of Triangle Squares Square Dance Club having held many offices over the previous 40 years.

He loved taking pictures at any event and spending time with his many friends and family. Anybody who knew him, knew he loved his coffee.

He is survived by his wife, Melba, of Denton, daughters, Becky Daniels and husband David of Longview, Texas, Diane Daniels of Whitesboro, Texas, sons, Paul Daniels, Jr. of Pilot Point, Texas, Chad Daniels and wife Lorie Cardwell of Sanger, Texas, brothers, Glen Daniels and wife Comedra, Michael Daniels and wife Betty, Ricky Daniels and wife Ruby, Gary Daniels and wife Cindy, Mark Daniels and wife Phyllis and David Daniels, sisters, Kathie Sturgeon and husband, Lee, Trish Siegrist and husband Jeremy and fourteen grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother and father, and sister, Towanda Daniels.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 6, 2021 from 5-7 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 7, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Central Baptist Church.  The address is 2221 N Carroll Blvd Denton TX 76201. Interment will follow at the Dallas Ft. Worth National Cemetery in Dallas.
