Paul Edward Schaefer, 71, of Denton, TX, passed away peacefully on August 2, 2024. Born on March 14, 1953 in Oak Ridge, TN, Paul lived a life full of love, dedication, and commitment to his family and community. Paul was the store manager for Advanced Auto Parts in Denton, TX.

Paul was the beloved husband of Teresa Jean Schaefer. The two were married on March 3, 1979, and enjoyed 45 wonderful years together. Their marriage was a testament to enduring love and mutual support.

Paul has two brothers, Jack Schaefer Jr. and John Schaefer.

Paul was a devoted father to his three sons:

- Christopher Edward Schaefer, his wife Debbie, and their children Dustin, Dylan, and Ireland.

- Paul Edward Schaefer Jr., his wife Beth, and their daughter Hailey.

- James Winston Schaefer, his wife Julia, and their sons Trenton, Jackson, and Nolan.

Paul's family was his pride and joy. He cherished every moment spent with his grandchildren, who brought immense happiness to his life.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, Jack Winston Schaefer Sr. and Betty Lou Schaefer.

Paul's legacy is one of kindness, generosity, and unwavering love for his family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him, but his spirit will live on through the memories and the love he shared.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors.
