Paula Torres Balderaz, 79, of Denton passed away Thursday, September 15, 2016 at her home. She was born June 29, 1937 to Carlos Torres and Gregoria Maldonado in Rio Verde, S.L.P. Mexico.

The family will receive friends at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas on Monday, September 19, 2016 from 6-8 P.M. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at Denton Church of Christ with interment immediately following at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.

Paula is survived by her Son Joe Balderas, daughters Lupe Colfry and husband David of Sanger, Lydia Granado and husband Manuel of Alpine, Sandra Aguirre and husband Mario of Denton and Olga Landrum and husband Guy of Fort Worth. She was the youngest daughter of 12 siblings all from Mexico, most of who are now deceased. She had 7 grandchildren, Carlos, Daniel, Crystal, Andrew, Matthew, Angela and Amanda and 7 great grandchildren.
She was a Godly Christian mother and friend who loved to help others. She will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. We all know she is now resting in peace with our Heavenly Father which gives us comfort as we mourn.
