Paulette S. Danielson, 90, of Denton passed away March 13, 2022, at her residence. She was born on July 16,1931 in Caussade, France to Sylvain Sazerat and Jeanne Marcelle Mongay Sazerat.
She studied literature and English at La Sorbonne University. She was a freelance writer for various French publications, and she was a French teacher in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, the American School in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, and Cupertino, California.
Paulette lived a full and exciting life. She traveled extensively and enjoyed politics, reading, hosting lavish parties, and rescuing animals. She loved sampling all varieties of food and wine and was a gourmet cook.
She married Walter Danielson on October 30, 1957, in Chateauroux, France. He preceded her in death on August 9, 2013.
Paulette is survived by her daughter, Veronique Sudbeck, and her husband, Vincent; her cherished grandson, Justin Sudbeck, his wife, Lacie, and their children, Jett and Jade. Her beloved granddaughter, Ashley Sudbeck, and her fiancé, Jonathan Cates. She is preceded in death by her stepson, David Danielson, her son, Marc Patrick Danielson, and her parents, Marcelle and Sylvain Sazerat of Caussade, France.
A celebration of life will be held 6:00 p.m., Thursday, March 24, 2022, in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. Paulette wishes to have her ashes scattered off the island of Oahu where she and her husband vacationed.
