Peggy died quietly at home surrounded by family on December 15, 2021. She was born on September 12, 1927, in Carrollton, Texas.

Peggy had a long life of hardship, grief, love, and joy. She was widowed at a young age with two children aged ten and six. She worked hard and raised Kathy and Jerry to adulthood. In 1982, she met George Garrett. They married and had twenty years together before his death in 2003.

She is preceded in death by her parents Garfield and Ola Mae Hamilton and husbands, George Garrett and Sidney Allen Morse.

She is survived by her son Jerry Morse and daughter-in-law, Paula; her daughter, Kathy Chandler; her granddaughter, Kaycee Washington, greatgrandchildren, Chris, and Marley ; and her sister Dortha Terrell.

A graveside service will be held at Roselawn Cemetery, Monday, December 20 at 11:00 AM.
