Peggy Ruth Harrison, 83, of Denton, Texas passed away on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 in Denton, Texas. She was born on August 17, 1935 in Magnolia, AR. to Horace and Amanda Marie (Dendy) Smith.

Peggy graduated high school in Magnolia, AR. and from the University of Texas in Dallas, Summa Cum Laude with a degree in accounting. She enjoyed her career with Texas Instruments and was active in the Presbyterian Church.

Her favorite hobbies included traveling, reading, needlework and she was an excellent bridge player. All children delighted her, and she enjoyed many friends.

Peggy is survived by her daughter, Pamela Danette Miller and husband Dennis, son, Michael Phillip Harrison and wife Judy, grandchildren, Aaron, Andrew and wife Marian, Kyle and wife Peju, Lauren, great granddaughter, Ellie, brother, Horace Smith and wife Judy, sister, Betty Wing and husband Russell and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Earnest R. Harrison.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. in the chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. Interment will be held at a later date at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery.
