Obituary
Peggy Louise Shahan passed away on Saturday, Sept. 1, 2012 at her home in Farmers Branch, Texas. She was born in Dallas, Texas on Sept. 3, 1923 to Clarence and Leona (Hill) Duggan, and moved to Denton at an early age.
She is survived by her husband of 71 years, John Horace (Blackie) Shahan of Farmers Branch and her son David Gene Shahan and wife Janette of Richardson, Texas. She is also survived by her sister Jonell Hawk of Denton, Texas.
Peggy is also survived by four grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and two great great grand daughters.
Visitation will be Monday Sept. 3, 2012 at DeBerry Funeral Directors from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with burial at Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas.
The family request that instead of sending flowers that memorial donations be made to Hospice Care.
