Obituary

Peggy Whitlock Waller, 85, of Arlington, went home to be with her Lord, Monday, October 9, with her family at her bedside.

Peggy was born September 10, 1932, in Denton, Texas. She graduated from Denton High School in 1949 and North Texas State University in 1952. While at North Texas, she met her future life's companion, David Waller, and they shared 66 years of marriage together. Peggy taught school in Grand Prairie in the early years of her marriage and then she stayed home with her children. She returned to teaching in Arlington for a brief time before retiring. Peggy was a member of Lamar Baptist Church and was involved for many years in Bible Study Fellowship.

Peggy is survived by her husband, David and children, Dana Opper and husband Darrell, Victor Waller and wife Celeste, Leslie Duncan and husband David, grandchildren, Guy Opper and wife Rachel, Leslie-Marie Opper, Clint Waller, Jana Waller, Annemarie Duncan, two great grandchildren and sister, Serena Daugherty, sister-in-law, Jo Nell Leonard.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 16, from 6-8 P.M. at the Lamar Baptist Church in Arlington. Funeral service will be Tuesday, October 17, at 1:00 P.M. at Green Valley Baptist Church with burial to follow at Green Valley Cemetery.
