Obituary
Phillip Mark Bensley, 76, of Hickory Creek, Texas passed away on May 9, 2018 after a long illness. He was born on March 13, 1942 in Iowa City, Iowa to Hemlin and Ellen (Miller) Bensley. He graduated North Maquoketa Valley High in 1960 and joined the US Army.
He married JoAnne Black in Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 1975. He retired from Rockwell Collins in 2001 where he was a machinist.
He is survived by his wife, JoAnne Bensley along with his children, Scott Bensley and his wife Michelle, Brian Bensley, Traci Bensley and step-daughter, Laurie Garcia and her husband David and 11 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father, three sisters and three brothers.
Funeral Services will be held at the Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery on May 15, 2018 at 12:30 PM with Army Honors.
