Phillip Allen Thomas, affectionately known as "Poppy" to his family, passed away peacefully on April 20, 2025, in Denton, Texas. He was born on May 18, 1950, in Stillwater, Oklahoma.

Phillip proudly served his country for 29 years in the United States Air Force and was a devoted husband to his wife, Margaret Thomas, for over 50 years. He was deeply dedicated to his family—his greatest pride and joy.

He is survived by his wife, Margaret; his children, Debbie Ruhde, Thomas Loveland, Phillip Allen Thomas II, and Dawn Paradise; 13 grandchildren; and 8 great-grandchildren.

A funeral service with military honors will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, May 5, 2025, at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery.

He will be remembered for his quiet strength, unwavering loyalty, and deep love for those closest to him. He will be missed dearly.
