Phyllis Kay Brearley, 66, of Krum, passed away on Sunday, June 1, 2014. She was born on December 29, 1947 in Pampa, Texas to Calvin Brumley and Elvana Adair Brumley. She married Larry Brearley in Argyle on May 10, 1991 and was a Field Auditor at Daybreak Ventures in Denton, Texas, throughout North Texas and the Texas Panhandle. She enjoyed fishing, camping, weekend trips, visiting museums, trips to the farm in Oklahoma, and cattle production.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4, 2014 from 6-8 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, June 5, 2014 at 11:00 am at Prairie Mound Cemetery in Argyle with Rev. Dickie Amyx officiating.

Phyllis is suvived by her husband, Larry; son, Jimmie Mayberry of Oklahoma; brother, Nick Hall of Oregon; and special life long friend, Patricia Blanscet of Oklahoma. She is preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Shanda Stewart and Ginger King Reed.
