It is with a heavy heart that the Sithamparapillai family announce that Puvanendran Sithamparapillai (also known as Rajan and Puvi) was called to rest on 31 October 2021 in Denton, Texas, USA.

Beloved husband of Thayalam (nee Amirthanayagam of Tellipallai), much loved father of Patrick and Dr. Sarah, loving son of late NS Sithamparapillai (Station Master, Ceylon Government Railways) and late Saraswathi, cherished youngest brother of late Pusparaja Sithamparapillai , late Pushparani Thirrunavukkarasu (Rani), Pushpadevi Sithamparapillai (Ranji, Sri Lanka), Pushpamirtham Sabaratnam (Baba, Sri Lanka), Pushparagam Alagaratnam (Mano, Sri Lanka), late Pushpalayam Sivagurunathan (Gnanam), Sarojini  Subramaniam (Pillai, Canada) and Stephen Puvendran (Indran, Canada).  Rajan will be missed by many of his nieces and nephews and many of his grand nieces and nephews across the globe.

Rajan was born in Chundikuli, Jaffna, studied at St Johns' College and worked at the Bank of Ceylon (Colombo) before he migrated to Canada and then to Texas, USA.

Please uphold Sithamparapillai family in your prayers and pray for Rajans's dear soul to be in eternal repose with Jesus.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, 4 November 2021, at 5-7 pm at Bill DeBerry Funeral Home , 2025 W. University Dr, Denton, Texas, USA.

To celebrate the life of Mr. Puvanendran Sithamparapillai, a Thanksgiving Service will be held on Friday, 5 November 2021 at 10. 30 am at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church 2255, N. Bonnie Brae St, Denton, Texas 76207 .

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, family is kindly requesting all the attendees to follow all the Government regulations and protocols that are currently in place.
