Obituary

Rachel Maurine Osborne Lindgren, 82, of Denton passed away Friday, March 22, 2013, at the Denton Regional Medical Center. Her sons and priest were by her side. She was born August 9, 1930 in Harlingen to Harrell Sherburne and Edna Morris Osborne.

Rachel married Bruce Frank Lindgren on July 8, 1951 here in Denton. He preceded her in death on June 23, 2011. She was a member of the St. David of Wales Episcopal Church.

Rachel was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother. She loved spending time with her family and playing cards with her friends.

The family will receive visitors at DeBerry Funeral Directors Tuesday night from 6 to 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the St. David of Wales Episcopal Church, with Father H.W. Canon Hermann officiating. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Darren Camp, Randy Geiselman, Louis Patton, Mike Rummell, Bill Sullivan and Jim Wohlgemuth. Roy Appleton will be an honorary pallbearer.

Rachel is survived by her son, Steven Carl Lindgren, and wife Dani Lynne of Midland, her son, Scott Harrell Lindgren, and wife Karen Gene of Frisco, grandchildren Taylor Ann Fritschen and Stephanie Shasteen Lindgren, and great grand children Parker Bruce Lindgren and Brook, Caroline and Cooper Patton, and two nieces, Christy Tisher and Carrie Barton. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and grandson, Jason Scott Lindgren.
