On September 3, 2018 Ralph Thomas Bridges entered the gates of heaven. Tom was born in Denton, TX on September 25, 1962, the son of Ralph W. and Kate Blackwell Bridges. Tom attended school in Denton and was a 1981 graduate of Denton High School. On June 6, 1992 he married the love of his life, Gayla White. Tom and Gayla had one son, Jacob, who Tom loved dearly.

Tom was a lineman working for Texas New Mexico Power and Denton Municipal Electric for 29 years. He most recently was a System Operator Supervisor for Denton Municipal Electric. Tom was a faithful member of Highland Baptist Church.

Tom was predeceased by his dad R.W. Bridges and brother Jim Bridges.

He is survived by his wife Gayla Bridges, son Jacob Bridges, his mother Kate Bridges, sister Becky Johnson (Randy), brothers Sam (Michelle), Joe (Angie) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is scheduled from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Thursday, September 6, 2018 at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Friday at Highland Baptist Church with interment following at Old Alton Cemetery.
