Raymond Salas, Jr., 63, of Denton, Texas passed away Sunday, June 10, 2018 in Denton. He was born on January 5, 1955 to Raymond Salas Sr. and Sophie Pino in Dallas, Texas.

Raymond attended Denton High School and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. He married Angelica Torres in June of 1998 in Denton. Raymond worked as a painter and enjoyed fishing and bowling.

Raymond is survived by his wife Angelica Torres, daughters Crystal Salas and Michele Salas, son Mitchell Salas, sisters Dorothy Ozuna, Dolores Gonzales, Susie Luna, Rebecca Nolan, Joann Salas and Diane Burrola, brothers Daniel Salas, Gilbert Salas, Charles Salas and Johnny Salas, grandchildren Mitchell Salas, Jr., Morgan Bowen, Marisol Salas, Jayson Mendez, Ismael Santiago, Jr. and 3 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents.

Family will receive friends on Wednesday, June 13, 2018 from 6:00 P.M. to 7:30 P.M. for visitation. Rosary is said for 7:30 P.M. A funeral service is scheduled for Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. both in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors. Interment will immediately follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
