Reba Estelle Brown, 73, of Denton, Texas passed away Wednesday, November 28, 2018 in Denton. She was born on February 21, 1945 in Bowie, Texas to A.V. and Oleta New. Reba graduated from Bridgeport High School and worked at Denton Community Hospital as an admissions clerk.

She married Jimmie Brown in Bridgeport, Texas on June 30, 1962. Reba was active in music ministry and was a member of Summit Church in Aubrey, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Margie Lemme and Linda Ryan and her son Jim Brown Jr.

Visitation is scheduled for 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Friday November 30, 2018 at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral services will be held at 2:30 P.M. Saturday, December 1, 2018 also at DeBerry Funeral Directors with Matthew Brown officiating. Interment will be at Johns Chapel Cemetery in Ash Grove, MO. Pallbearers are John Brown, Jeff Brown, Nick Brown, Matt Brown, Amon Brown and Michael Scott.

Reba is survived by her husband Jimmie Brown, sons John Brown (Shelia) and Jeffery Brown (Julie), daughter-in-law Michelle Brown, sister, Trish New, brother, Tommy New, 7 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
