Obituary
Rebecca Ann Sims, 60, of Valley View, passed away on Tuesday, July 22, 2014. "Becca" was the second child born to William P. Morris and Bonnie Mae (Shields) Morris, on November 28, 1953. She was born in Sherman, Texas and spent most of her life in Denton, Texas. Throughout her life, she most enjoyed being a caregiver—to her children, her parents, and friends.
Rebecca is survived by her husband of 41 years, David Sims I; sons, David Sims II and John Sims, of Denton; daughter, Sherrie Hubble and husband Kelly, of Arlington; sisters Paula Morris, Linda Powell, and Della Morris; 7 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild. She is preceded in death by her parents and older brother, William "Bill" Morris.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 from 10:00 to 11:00 am, with a memorial service beginning at 11:00 am in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors.
