Regina Kay Garner, 84, of Denton passed away on December 16, 2022 in Denton. She was born in Ottumwa, Iowa on November 28, 1938 to Kenneth and Elva (Thill) Cloyd.

She graduated from Ottumwa High School and married Richard Dean Garner. She worked as a secretary and administrative assistant in her professional career. Regina enjoyed gardening,cooking,and spending time with family. After retirement, she enjoyed participating in programs at The Denton Senior Center.

She is survived by her sons, Don Garner of Denton, Chris Garner and girlfriend Wendy Kruger of Aubrey, sister, Dorothea Celania of Denton, and brother, Leroy Cloyd of Iowa.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 48 years, Richard Garner, her mother and father, sister Virginia and brothers Donald Cloyd and Virgil Cloyd.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 from 12:30 PM until 1:30 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. A graveside service will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton at 2:00 PM.
