Reyes Ruiz, 66, of Denton, Texas went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 24, 2017 at his home. He was born June 6, 1951 in La Martha, Chihuahua Mexico to Jose Reyes Ruiz and Benedicta Cias. Reyes married Carmelina Avitia in 1978 in Denton, Texas.

Reyes is survived by his wife of 43 years Carmelina Ruiz of Denton, Texas, daughter, Mireya Mendoza of Mansfield, Texas, son, Sergio Ruiz of Denton, Texas, sisters, Olivia Varela of Chihuahua, Mexico,  Josefina Torres of Denton, Texas, brothers, Norberto Ruiz of Denton, Texas, Gillermo Ruiz of Denver, Colorado, and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Thursday, September 28, 2017 from 6-8 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral service will be on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 1:00 P.M. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church will burial to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
