Rhonda Denise McBride, age 65, of Argyle, TX, passed away on July 28, 2024. She was born on May 15, 1959 in Borger, Texas to Ray and Pat Jarrell. After Rhonda graduated from Denton High School in 1977, she went on to study Business Administration at The University of North Texas.

In 1975, Rhonda met Wayne at a Church function where they were "helped" to sit together by the congregation youth. Rhonda and Wayne married in 1977 and went on to have three children, son Aaron McBride, daughter Emily Putman and son Evan McBride.

Rhonda was a homemaker and stay at home mom for 16 years, a mail carrier at the United States Postal Service for 26 years and ran her sewing business for her entire adult life.

Her joy in life was serving the Lord, being with her family, watching her grandkids play sports, and teaching them how to sew, cook and garden. She shined her light by being a friend to everyone she met and seeking out ways to help anyone in need. Rhonda led as an example of being a Godly woman to all those around her.

In 2019, Rhonda retired and spent her time side by side with her loving husband, building her sewing business, making memories with her grandkids and visiting both her and Wayne's parents.

Rhonda was preceded in death by her mom Pat Osborne, step-mom Joan Jarrell, father in-law B.H. McBride, and grandparents Thomas and Maudie Jarrell. She is survived by her husband Wayne, son Aaron (Andrea), daughter Emily (Aaron), son Evan, grandchildren Caleb, Levi, Ethan, Asher, Asa, and Everly, father Ray, brothers Robert and Ronald, and mother in-law Margie.

The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors on Friday, August 2, 2024 from 5-7:00 p.m. for visitation. A celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, August 3, 2024, in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with John Hannegan officiating. The burial will be Saturday at 2:30 at Newberry Cemetery in Millsap, TX.
