Richard Lynn Griffin, 68, of Krum, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2020 in Ponder, Texas. He was born on June 16, 1951 in Aubrey, Texas to Tommy and Kathryn Griffin. Richard married Waunita Beaty in Aubrey on August 13, 2005. He was retired from Denton County and enjoyed spending time with his family and riding their Harley. Richard is preceded in death by his parents and his son Brandon Griffin.

Visitation will be held Friday, February 14, 2020 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at First Rock Church in Aubrey with the funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM. Interment will follow at Belew Cemetery.

Richard is survived by his loving wife Waunita Griffin. Children Dawn Grisham and husband Tim of Lake Dallas, Dennis Hampton and wife Sara of Krum,  Amy Edmond and husband Rodney of Krum, Danny Hampton and wife Leslie of Denton. 12 Grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren, Brother Wayne Griffin and wife Michelle of Highland Village, Brother Charles Griffin and wife Stella of Mill Creek Oklahoma.  Aunt Evalynn Lefler of Lewisville. His Furever companion Bella. We would like to thank Rodney for all his special care and friendship. Richard will be missed forever.
