In Loving Memory of Richard Chester Miller
Richard Chester Miller, age 75, passed away peacefully in Fort Worth, Texas, on Monday, March 10, 2025. Born on June 3, 1949, in Mount Pleasant, Michigan, Richard was the son of Richard and Marion Miller.
A devoted patriot, Richard selflessly served his country with honor and loyalty during the Vietnam War, completing several tours of duty as a proud member of the United States Army. For his extraordinary valor, he earned numerous distinguished honors, including the Purple Heart, Silver Star, Bronze Star, and Army Commendation Medal. After returning home, Richard pursued a career as an ironworker. In 1991, Richard married the love of his life, Patricia Drake. Together, they built a life filled with cherished memories and unwavering love.
Richard is survived by his devoted wife, Patricia Miller; his son, Phil Coward, and wife, Kristen Lynch; his son, Jamie, and wife, Holli Ryan; his son, Morgan Miller; his cherished grandchildren: Trevor Miller, Forest Miller, Ashlyn Altobello, Johel Lynch, Brooklyn Lynch, Luna Miller, and Benjamin Miller; his brother, Mark Miller; and his sister, Jacolyn Miller. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had
the privilege of knowing him.
Richard's legacy lives on in the hearts of those who loved him. He will be remembered for his spirit and his steadfast commitment to those he cared about.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, March 14, 2025, at DeBerry Funeral Home. Richard will later be laid to rest at the DFW National Cemetery.
