Our faithful Lord and Savior called Richard A. Molter Jr. home on December 13, 2020 at the age of 86. He was born July 14, 1934, in Pasadena, California, to Richard A. and Ethel L. Molter but with both parents from Texas, Richard Jr considered himself a "Native" Texan.

Growing up in San Antonio, as an Eagle Scout, he graduated from Brackenridge High and enlisted in the US Navy, being honorably discharged in 1955. He married Glenda Jansen and then graduated with a degree in Electronics from the University of Houston in 1959 and later with a B.S. in Business Administration from UT/Dallas. After many years in the electronics world, he finally retired for good in 2011.  Richard became a follower of Christ in 1948 and upon death was a member of Plainview Baptist Church in Krum, Texas. He taught numerous Sunday School classes throughout his lifetime.

He is survived by his wife Doris Parnell of Krum, his brother Ronald (Bettye) of Kingston, his sister Ruth Ann (Ronn) of Garland, his three daughters, Lei Ann Wayman (Mike) of Boerne, Lori K Horvath (Joe) of Fayetteville, Ark. and Kathy Burgess (Wes) of Fayetteville, stepdaughter Sarah Jaillet, 7 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held at Plainview Baptist from 9:00 to 10:00 on Saturday, December 19, 2020. Funeral Services will follow starting at 10:00AM. Internment will be held at High Cemetery in Canton, TX at 3:00PM.
