Richard Scott Riley, 63, of Denton, passed away in his home on January 14, 2025. He was born on February 5, 1961, in Denton, Texas to John and Gailya Riley. Scott was a devoted father who cherished music, travelling to new places and creating lasting memories with his family and friends.

Scott is preceded in death by his parents, John and Gail Riley and his brother Mark Riley.

A celebration of Scott's life will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, January 25, 2025, at DeBerry Funeral Home in Denton. The Riley family invites friends and family to join them in remembering Scott's warm spirit and loving heart.

Scott is survived by his brother Steve Riley, and sister Brenda Everett as well as his three sons Brian, Blake and Brandon Riley. Brian and Brandon live in Fort Worth, Texas and Blake lives in Canada.
