Richard Wayne Unger, 77, of Argyle passed away on April 17, 2021 at his home. He was born on November 13, 1943 in Electra, Texas to Henry Ben and Elza Modell (East) Unger.

Richard graduated from Kermit High School in Kermit, Texas and was a member of Southmont Baptist Church.  He married Linda Gale Sissney on August 2, 1969 in Silverton and had two children, Kevin and Amanda.  He retired from Dell after 42 years as a computer programmer.

He is survived by his son, Kevin Unger, daughter, Amanda Goble and fiancé, Jason Hilliard, and grandson, Hayden Goble, sister, Linda Hornberger and husband Jerry, brother Benjy Unger and wife Mary Jo, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Linda Unger, and his mother, Elza Unger and father, Henry Unger.

Visitation will be held on Friday April 23, 2021 from 5:00-7:00PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 2:00PM in the DeBerry Funeral Directors Chapel and interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.
