Obituary

Richard was born in San Francisco, California to Robert and Phyllis Woodall. Richard remained in the Bay area for 57 years until he relocated to Texas in 2017. Richard was very happy about his relocation saying , " I've always been more Texan than Californian." Richard was married to Phyllis on Feb. 2, 2018 and they started their adventure together, very much in love.

Richard enjoyed golfing and has spent many years perfecting his swing. He was such a fan that he watched every tournament on TV. Baseball was also at the top of the list of sports he loved. Richard loved his church,  Denton Freedom Church of Denton, the Denton Freedom House and the men there. He also spent many weekends serving at Tres Dias and was a strong supporter of that ministry. His admiration and respect for the men and women who served in any branch of the military, police department, fire department and nursing field was infinite and he never passed up an opportunity to thank them and bless them. Patriotic and a proud American to the core his foundation The Holy Bible, The Constitution and The Federalist Papers.

Richard loved his family immensely and was affectionately known as PaPa Bear. He took great pleasure in being a GrandDad and was often found roaming around the property on his Gator with grandchildren in tow. Bigger than life, onery with a smile, dedicated and loyal, fighter to the core and best hugs ever that was Richard.
