Ricky (Rick) Don Knight of Keller, Texas, passed away October 8, 2026, and went to be with his Lord in heaven after an accident at his home October 2, 2026.
Rick was born in Vernon, Texas, on June 25, 1949, to Rufus William (Dugan) Knight and Dorothy Nell Webb Knight who preceded him in death.

He had a passion for all sports and excelled in basketball during his high school years at Krum High School, playing all four years and becoming an integral part of the team scoring over 1,900 points during his high school years, and being selected on the 1967 All State Team. His career culminated in a trip to the state tournament in 1967. He received a full scholarship to Dallas Baptist College and played for two years before hanging up his Converses and transferring to the University of North Texas, receiving a Bachelors’ degree in Business Administration in 1971.

Pat Fralia Company, a privately owned electronics manufacturing rep firm in 1978. He worked his way up to become Vice-President in 1981, and within a few years was promoted to President. In 1985, he became co-owner of the company after the death of Pat Fralia. He enjoyed a 43-year career in the industry, 36 of those years at Fralia until his retirement in 2014. Upon his retirement, he sold his share of the company to his partner and settled to life at his home in Keller with his wife of 26 years, Cynthia (Cindy) Knight.
