Obituary
Rita Lavon (Scott) Fender, 62 of Denton passed away Friday, March 14, 2014 at the Denton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center. She was born on October 7, 1951 in Lubbock Texas to Melvin and Bobby Mae Stroud Scott. She graduated from Mineral Wells High School.
A Memorial Service will be held Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at the Denton Rehabilitation and Nursing Center with Rev. Buddy Owens officiating.
Rita is survived by a daughter Susan Fender of Grand Prairie, son Ronnie and wife Jayan Fender and grandchildren Dakota, Connor and Aiden all of Garland, her mother, Bobbie Mae Scott of Denton, and step-mother, Lucy Scott of Denton, brother Clifford and wife Debbie Scott of Denton.
