Rita Janie Juarez, 77, of Denton passed away at her home on Friday,  November 4, 2022. She was born in Texon, Texas on May 23. 1945 to Juan and Josephine Fuentez.

She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Juarez of Denton, Sandra Guthrie and husband Kirk of Corinth, Tx., sons, Tony Juarez of Denton, Danny Juarez and wife Angela of Slidell, Texas, and Paul Juarez and wife Barbie of Denton, sisters, Yolanda Escamilla of Denton, and Christina Sanchez of Arlington, Tx., brothers, Frank Castillo and wife Margaret of Midland, Tx., Joe Sanchez of Midland, Tx., Reyes Sanchez of Denton and eight grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her mother and father, and brother, Robert Sanchez.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 5PM – 7PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton. Funeral services will be held in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors on Wednesday, November 9, 2022 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.
