Robert Joseph Battiato, 73, of Denton, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2015 at his residence. He was born October 9, 1941 in Elizabeth, NJ to Joseph Philip and Philomena Petrello Battiato. He married Patricia Ferry on November 15, 1980 in Spotswood, NJ. He attended Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, served in the U.S. Navy, and had retired after forty-four and one half years from Ford Motor Co. He was a member of Elks Lodge, Knights of Columbus, American Legion, and former director of the Lakeview HOA.

Visitation will be Tuesday, September 1, 2015 from 7:00 – 9:00 P.M. at DeBerry Funeral Directors. Also, Visitation will be Thursday, September 3, 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 P.M. and 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. at DeMarcos Funeral Home, Monroe, NJ. Funeral service will be Friday morning, September 4, 2015 at St. James Church in Jamesburg, NJ. Burial will be at St. Ann's Cemetery.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia Battiato of Denton; daughters Coleen Richter and Kerryann Holster; brother, John Battiato and 2 grandchildren.
