Robert Earl Bell, 72, of Aubrey passed away on August 31, 2017 in Denton, Texas. He was born on December 19, 1944 in Nocona, Texas to Leon Clark and Glenna (Gannon) Bell. Robert grew up in Henrietta, Texas and graduated from Henrietta High School in 1963. Robert followed in his Dad's footsteps to become a licensed master plumber. He owned and operated A&M Plumbing with his wife, Cindy for over thirty years. Robert sold his company and retired, but not for long. He soon joined Wilson McLain Plumbing in Krum, Texas where he was currently employed.
Robert served his community in many ways by contributing and participating in countless benefit auctions/dinners, service projects and simply helping anyone in need. He was a member of the Denton Elks Lodge, served on the board of directors and officers of the North Texas Fair and Rodeo, and once served as the President of C.A.S.I. Robert always sought out to give his whole heart to anyone and everyone that had a need. Anyone who knew Robert knew that he lived life on his own terms, in business, fun, and loving his friends and family. There was never a dull moment with Robert and most often included unbelievable stories and events.
Robert is survived by his wife, Cindy; his children, Cindy Beth (Patrick) Bruce, Alesha (Onel) Jimenez, Caleb (Jessica) Bell, Tucker (Amber) Bell; grandchildren, Logan, Jordan, Ashley, Hailey, Avery, Luis, Bailey, Arley, Lilley, Jaxson, Adelyn, Samantha, Andrew, Teagan, Sawyer and Josie; great grandchildren, Brielle and Brynleigh; sister, Nancy (Butch) Hamilton, brother-in-law, Andy and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, Leon and Glenna Bell, brothers, Jerry and Larry.
His absence will leave a tremendous void and aching in our hearts. All those who loved Robert will long for the day to see him again in eternity.
As an expression of sympathy, in lieu of flowers please donate to a charity close to your heart.
There will be a celebration of life at the North Texas Fair & Rodeo (Fair Hall), on Sunday, September 3 at 3:00 pm.
