Robert Bodovsky was born in Tioga, Texas to Raymond and Dovie Williams Bodovsky on May 16, 1929, and passed away in his Lubbock residence on October 29, 2025.

Bob was raised on the family farm in Tioga. He served in the Air Force and obtained a degree from Texas Normal College (now known as UNT). He worked for Conoco Oil, Inc. until taking early retirement and starting an antique and estate sale business in Lubbock, where he resided for many years.

He is survived by his sister Glennis Hogan and his brother John Bodovsky.
He was predeceased by his parents, his sister Dorothy Kelly and his brother Raymond Bodovsky, as well as nephews and niece Robert Kelly, Lynton Bodovsky and Janie Gotcher.
He is survived by his nieces and nephews Patricia Kelly, Janna Schick, Ginger Gatewood, Greg Bodovsky, Cheryl Guinn, Alan Bodovsly, Bryan Hogan, Ben Hogan and families. He also left behind many beloved great nieces and nephews.

A farewell gathering will be held for Bob on Wednesday, November 5 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. at his home in Lubbock. Funeral services will be held at 1:00PM, Saturday, November 8, 2025 at DeBerry Funeral Directors in  Denton, Texas. Bob will be laid to rest following the service at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, Texas.
