Robert Earl Hill, 73, passed away in Denton, Texas on Sunday, January 30, 2022, surrounded by loved ones. Robert was born on January 1, 1949, to Robert and Alice Hill in West Point, Mississippi. He was the oldest of 3 children.

Robert moved to Texas after graduating high school. He retired from the Texas Department of Transportation in 2011. Robert married the love of his life, Janet Scott, on June 27, 1981. They had one child together, Patience Gant. Robert had 3 children from previous marriages, Tim Hill, Joey Hill, and Misty Hill.

Anyone who knew Robert knew that he was the most loving father and husband a family could ask for. He always put his family first. He was a strong, kind, loving and supportive husband and father.

Robert is preceded in death by his mother, Alice, his father, Robert, his sister, Brenda, his brother, Doug, and his son, Joey. He is survived by his wife, Janet, his children Patience, Misty and Tim, grandchildren Addison, Avery, Mallory, Dawson, Alayna, Zach, Talon, Hudson and Sarah, 6 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Robert on  February 19, 2022, from 1pm-3pm at his daughters house, 2813 Tori Oak Trl., Corinth, TX.
