Obituary
Robert Earl Newton, 75, of Decatur, passed away on Friday, January 10, 2014. He was born on January 26, 1938 in Roosevelt, OK to Allen Newton and Lela Newton. He married Janette Todd Godwin and was a member of the First Christian Church.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 am on Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Roselawn Memorial Park with Rev. Charlotte Nabors officiating.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Alonda Sherrill; granddaughter, Loni JoAnn Sherrill White; grandsons, Joshua Adam Sherrill and Joseph Paul Sherrill; and great grandchildren, Aden Christopher Corona, Skylar Rose White, and Jocelyn Grace White. He is preceded in death by his wife, Janette; and his parents.
