Roberta "Bird" Gierhart passed away in Flower Mound, Texas on April 5,2022 after a long and courageous battle with Parkinson's.  Roberta was born in Davenport, IA.  She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 46 years Charles Gierhart and her father Robert Jones.

A special service to celebrate her life will be held at the Bill DeBerry Funeral Home May 1,2022 at 12:00 p.m.  The reception will follow at her daughter Angela's home in Roanoke.  Everyone is welcome to attend.

Roberta is survived by her daughter Angela Orr, son Patrick Gierhart, grand-daughters Mika Gierhart and Emily Orr, son-in-law Roger Orr, Mother Betty Jones, sister Kathy McMillion, Beth Flatt, Chris Bradford, Mary Willis, brother Tom Jones and John Jones.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Roberta's honor to New Hope Equine Assisted Therapy (Argyle, TX) and The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
