Roberto Orona Sanchez, 75, of Denton passed away Wednesday, December 19, 2018 in Denton. He was born in Robstown, Texas to Tranquilino and Francisca Sanchez on January 28, 1943. He is preceded in death by his wife Eva Sanchez, parents Tranquilino and Francisca, his sisters Gloria Ochoa and Connie Serna and his brothers Pete Garcia, Robert Garcia and Domingo Sosa.

A rosary will be said at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, December 22, 2018 in the chapel of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with a mass of Christian burial following at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Roberto is survived by his sons Eddie Sanchez and Oscar Sanchez, his granddaughters Victoria Sanchez, Priscilla Sanchez and Ava Martin-Sanchez.

Welo was the best Cowboys and Rangers fan and he loved his dog, Brother (Bandit and Addison too). He was always a loving, supportive and caring father and grandfather. He will be missed so much.
