Roberto L. Vasquez, Sr., of Denton passed away on May 28, 2021 in Denton. He was born in Alice, Texas to Manuel Vasquez and Emilia Medellin.

He is survived by, daughters, Cynthia Mendez and husband Raul of Denton, Melissa Gonzalez and husband Lino of Tulsa, Amy Vasquez of Denton, Laurie Arriaga and husband Jesus of Denton, Rebecca Lopez of Denton, sons, Roberto Vasquez, Jr., and Jesus Angel Vasquez and wife Zondra of Gainesville, Tx., his ex-wife, Delma Vasquez, sixteen grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his mother and father and brother, Valente Vasquez.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas from 5-7 PM. Funeral Services will be held in the Chapel as well on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.
