Rodger Wynne Hunter 65 of Little Elm passed away Thursday, August 12, 2021 at the Horizon Medical Center in Denton, TX.  He was born in Harrisonville, MO to Robert Hunter and Sadie Marie Burger Hunter on May 3, 1956.  He graduated from Drexel High School. He married Sharon Kaye Spencer on July 27, 1974.  She preceded him in death on June 30, 2021.  He was a Safety and compliance manager at NORTHWEST PROPANE where he worked for the last 30 years.

The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors on Sunday, August 15th from 2:00 p.m.-4:00p.m for visitation.  Funeral services will be held at Mullinax Funeral Home in Drexel, MO (phone: 660-679-0009).  Burial will be at the Sharon Cemetery in Drexel, MO.

Rodger is survived by his daughter Jami Cook and her children Rae Cook and Kaleb Alexander of Little Elm, son, Dustin and Melody Hunter and their children, Kyle Hunter and Makayla Hunter of Edmond, OK, brother, David Hunter of Mesquite.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and sister, Carma Delozier.
