Roland Earl Baker, Jr, 71, of Sanger passed away at his home on April 26, 2021. He was born in White Settlement, Texas to Roland Sr and Mary (Grissett) Baker on May 13, 1949.

Roland married the Love of his life, Linda Kennemer on May 5th 1971. He was a family man, and a very dedicated, kind and loving gentle giant which some called "Tiny" due to his height. He loved being outdoors, whether it be working, fishing, hunting, yard work, chores, or just relaxing in the breeze.

He is survived by his daughter, Shannon Galbraith and husband David of Sanger, son, Darrell Baker and wife Samantha of Krum. Sister MaryHelen Barnett and husband Charles of Aubrey, Brothers Bobby Baker of Denton, and Tommy Baker of Justin. 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren, lots of cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

He was preceded in death by his wife Linda Baker, his brother Richard Baker and wife Dian, his brother Michael Baker, his mom Mary and dad Roland Sr.

The family will receive friends on Friday, April 30, 2021 from Noon to 1:30 PM at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas. A Graveside service will be held following the visitation service at 2:00 PM at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton.
