Rollins Dale Emery passed away in Austin, Texas on Friday, August 11, 2023. He was born in New Deal, Texas to Walter and Mary Emery on February 22, 1932. He was a farmer until 1978 when he moved to Denton. Dale retired from the City of Denton in 1994. He enjoyed gardening, working on cars and watching sports. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife Dorrel Emery and his son, Ricky Emery.

A viewing and visitation will be held at DeBerry Funeral Directors from 5PM to 7PM on Friday, August 18, 2023. Funeral services will begin at 10AM, Saturday, also at DeBerry's with interment to follow at Roselawn Memorial Park.

Dale is survived by his daughter, Sherry Wyatt and his granddaughter Charity Emery.
