Obituary
Ronald Kirk Carpenter, 66, of Collinsville passed away on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Denton Regional Medical Center due to complications from pneumonia.
Ronald was born on October 13, 1947 to Kirk and Billie Carpenter in Colorado City, Texas. He was raised and educated in Colorado City as well. He married Lynn Carpenter on May 13, 1967 and they were married for 45 years. Lynn preceded him in death 2 years ago. Ronald worked for Acme Brick for 26 years and retired from there in 2013.
There will be a memorial service on Thursday, August 28, 2014 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors with Dr. Jim Mann officiating.
Ronald is survived by his 3 daughters, Rhonda Carpenter of Liberty Hill TX, Tammy McKnight of Frisco, Jan Dotson and husband Chris of Krum TX; sisters, Dana Carpenter of Red Oak TX, and Marva Edwards of Big Spring TX; and 8 grandchildren. Ronald also leaves behind many loving cousins and life long friends.
