Ronald Lloyd Choice Sr, affectionately known as "Heavy" was born September 22, 1953 to the parentage of O.D Sirls and Verna Ruth Choice. He attended and graduated from Henderson High School in 1972 shortly after Ronald attended Prairie View A & M University.
In 1981, Mr. Choice united in matrimony with his queen Ms. Charlotte Marie Gober under the watch of the late Dr S.E Mitchell. This union loved and raised five children, Dustin, DeGabriel, Francesca, Ronald II, and Mitcha. Ronald worked and for City of Denton Water and Sewer for 28 years before retiring. Before his decline in health he was also employed by Senior Care Living Center.
Heavy was a very lovable, laid back, but hardworking man. He loved hanging out with friends and family. An avid fan for action movies and a sweet tooth like no other, pies, cakes, pastries! Ronald attended St. Andrews COGIC, where he became a deacon under the pasturage of Supt. Kenneth Davis. He also became a diligent worker for the transportation ministry.
Mr. Ronald "Heavy" Choice departed this life on Dec 4, 2016 surrounded by his family. He leaves to cherish his five children, brother Sedric Choice, 19 grandchildren...Micheal Jr., Dustin Tyler, Alexis, Oscar, DeAundria, Peyton, Tatyona, Jarrell, Ajia, Adrianne, Kobe, Tariah, Cortez, Kamar, Ashton, Ellington, Chase, Miracheal, Ja'Naya, and 1 great grandson Kingston Milo, and a host of other loving family and friends.
The family will receive friends on Friday at DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas on Friday, December 9, 2016 from 6-8 P.M. Services will be held at St. Andrews Church of God in Christ in Denton, Texas on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. with interment to follow at Oakwood Cemetery in Denton.
