Ronnie Boliver, 67 of Lake Dallas passed away on Saturday, September 3, 2016 after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born on December 18, 1948 in Denton, Texas to Raymond and Charlsie Boliver. He married Charlotte Bay on June 4, 1968 and they made their home in Lake Dallas.
Ronnie worked for Lake Dallas Telephone Company (which later sold to CenturyLink) for 44 years retiring in May of 2013. He was an active member in the Lake Cities Volunteer Fire Dept. for 18 years. He helped organize the original Lake Cities Soccer Assn. and was active member of the Lake Cities United Methodist Church. He had a great love for the outdoors whether it be hunting, fishing, gardening, ect. but his greatest love of all was his grandkids.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte, daughter, Melissa Malpass and husband Tim of Argyle, son, Mike Boliver and wife Katherine of Shady Shores, 4 grandchildren, Taylor Boliver of Kaufman, Brittnie Boliver of Valley View, Halle & Keaton Malpass of Argyle, sister, Barbara Garrison of Lake Dallas, brother, Tommy Boliver and wife Jeneane of Denton, several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Hulen Boliver, brother in law and sister in law, Thelma Boliver, brother in law, Jerry Garrison.
The family will be at DeBerry Funeral Directors Monday night from 6-8 pm for visitation.
Funeral services will 11:00 A.M., Tuesday at the Lake Cities United Methodist Church in Lake Dallas. Interment will be at the Swisher Cemetery in Lake Dallas.
