Ronnie Lynn Eidson, 76, of Watauga, Texas passed away on May 29, 2024. He was born in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Barney and Clara Eidson. Beloved Husband, Father, and Grandfather, Ronnie Eidson.
Ronnie served in the Navy aboard The USS Enterprise and The USS Bonhomme Richard, From February 1965 to March 1969. Ronnie received two Meritorious Service Medal Awards during combat operations in North Vietnam on USS Enterprise, NUC Ribbon bar. He was also a professional photographer. Ronnie's main hobbies that he absolutely loved were Fishing, Hunting, Kayaking, Photography, Stock Market, Camping and Traveling.
He would travel and camp, making memories with his family as much as he could. Ronnie was always the person, family came to for trusted advice. His loss has left an empty space in all our hearts. He will remain in our memories for all the days that we live. Ronnie was truly a beautiful example of, enjoy the little things.
Ronnie is survived by his wife, Sandra Joy Brown-Eidson, of Watauga, Tx., daughters, Jennifer Eidson of Alaska, Breanne Yielding, and her, husband, Rick of Ft. Worth, Tx., Tina Rene Kennedy and her husband, Nathan of Oregon, son, Jason Ross Brown of Haltom, City, Tx., brother, Danny Eidson of Minnesota, grandchildren, Coral Eilane Eidson, Tate May, Caden Kennedy, Hannah Kennedy, Devan Yielding, RicQuell Yielding, and Scarlett Yielding.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father.
A Committal Service will be held at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
