Rosamond R. Ford, 100, of Corinth, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 26, 2024, in Denton, Texas.

Rosamond worked as a Dental Assistant Supervisor for Dallas County, where she met her husband Dr. Delane Ford DMD. They later opened their own dental practice together. After Rosamond retired, she pursued many of her interests in art, including having her own custom framing business and later sewing and alterations out of her home. She shared her passion for art with a group of beloved friends that would meet monthly with their latest projects.

Rosamond is survived by her granddaughters Holly [husband-Shawn] Hyatt and Amber Knupp; her great-grandchildren Austin Knupp, Azure Knupp, Jacob Barnes, Ayden Cheshier and Kenzie Hyatt; 2 great-great granddaughters; her nephews John [wife-Pam] Sanchez and Roland Sanchez; her great-nephew Joseph [wife-Alexis Lucero] Sanchez; one great- great nephew Leonovah Love Lucero Sanchez; several cousins and numerous friends that will miss her greatly.

She was preceded in death by her husband Delane Ford; her daughter and son-in-law Roz and Benny Sleigh; her parents Roland and Amelia Mitchell; her sister Elizabeth Sanchez; and her brother Roland "Sonny" Mitchell.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, from 5:00 -7:00 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors, 2025 W. University Dr., Denton, TX 76201. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am Wednesday, October 23, 2024, at Roselawn Memorial Park, 3801 Roselawn Dr., Denton, TX 76207.
