Rosemary Louise Wilson, age 84, of Richardson, TX, formerly a resident of Denton, TX passed away peacefully in her sleep in Richardson on May 14, 2018. Rosemary was born on October 21, 1933 in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Rosemary grew up in White Oak, attending St. James Catholic Elementary School, later graduating from Mother Of Mercy Catholic Girls High School in Cincinnati, OH. She afterwards attended Business school, learning shorthand to become a secretary at Proctor and Gamble in the Greater Cincinnati area. Rosemary is survived by her brother, James Kinne, of Cincinnati, OH. She is preceded in death by her husband Lawrence Kenneth Wilson, her parents, Wilber and Irene Kinne, brothers, John Kinne, Donald Kinne, Robert Kinne, and Thomas Kinne.
Rosemary married the love of her life, Lawrence Kenneth Wilson, PFC in the United States Air Force in February 1957. She travelled to England to begin married life with her husband. The couple later settled in Vermilion, Ohio in the early 1960's, where they raised their six children; Cathy, Cindy, Christine, Cherrie, Mike and Carrie before moving to Houston Texas in the 1970's.
She later moved to Midland, TX, and spent more than 18 years in Midland before relocating to Denton for 10 years to be closer to her family. She was a member of St. Mark's Catholic Church during her time in Denton, TX. She was also a member of lay Marianist group in Denton.
Rosemary was a devoted and loving mother. She was very proud of her family and was excited to become a "Grandmother" to her 15 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. Rosemary loved holidays and family get-togethers; any chance to spend time with her family was important to her. Rosemary was known for her feisty, yet good sense of humor. She was a talented seamstress with a love of fashion and all things stylish. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.
Rosemary was the beloved wife of the late Lawrence Kenneth Wilson, loving mother to her six children and their spouses, James and Cathy Montfort of Denton, TX, Doit and Cindy Lee of Richardson, TX., Christine Redmon of OKC, OK, Skip and Cherrie Campbell of Longview, TX, Mike and Erika Wilson of Miami, FL (formerly of Dallas) and Bruce and Carrie Kubena of Columbus, Ohio. (formerly of Sugarland, TX.)
"Grandma" of Brian and his wife Juli Montfortof Carrollton, TX, Jamie and her husband Travis McAfee, of Springdale, Arkansas, and Brandon and his wife Brittany Montfort of McKinney, TX., Jeremy Lee of Dallas TX and Matthew Lee of Richardson, TX., William Barrington, Laura Beck, Robert Barrington, and Kathryn Barrington Ardmore, OK. Sabrina Campbell, Brittney Campbell, and Christie Campbell of Longview, TX. Kendall Kubena, Ashley Kubena, and Hayley Kubena of Columbus, Ohio. Rosemary is survived by her nine great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will gather at the DeBerry Funeral Home, in Denton, Texas on Thursday evening, May 17
th
, 2018 for a celebration of her life. Visitation from 6-8:00 P.M. followed by the Rosary at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Services will be Friday, May 18, 2018 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Mark's Catholic Church in Argyle, TX with Interment to follow afterwards at Roselawn Memorial Park in Denton, TX.
