Roy Wayne Christian, 74, of Denton passed away on August 26, 2024, in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was born in Denton, Texas on May 28,1950 to Oscar and Irene Christian.

Roy was a U.S. army veteran and served in the Vietnam War. Roy was a recipient of the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 2 Bronze Service Stars, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal and the Army Commendation Medal.

Roy married the love of his life, Jane Sadler on June 8, 1974, in Denton, Texas.  He attended the Dallas Institute of Mortuary Science and graduated in 1976.  Roy was a Mortician and Funeral Director until his retirement in 2012.

Roy is survived by his wife, Jane Christian of Denton, Texas, brothers, Billy Christian of Denton, Texas, Bobby Christian and wife Lisa of Dekalb, Texas, Danny Christian of Denton, Texas and beloved dog, Darby.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Tuesday, September 3, 2024, at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of DeBerry Funeral Directors in Denton, Texas.
