On March 18, 2021, Ruben Alonzo passed from this life at Denton State Supported Living Center, Denton, TX, to Everlasting Life to join our beloved Mother.

Ruben was born October 26, 1948, El Paso, TX, to the parentage of Cesario Alonzo and Luisa Canales Rodriguez. Our Mother, along with Rubens's two other siblings, boarded the train from El Paso to Dallas to begin a new life. Joe Rodriquez, Sr., entered into Ruben's life to become Father to him and his two siblings. Ruben from the age of 7 years, his life took a different path and was admitted to Austin State Supported Living Center, Austin, TX. Our family took many road trips to Austin to visit Ruben. In 1980, Denton State Supported Living Center became his new home to be closer to Family; Ruben lived a fulfilling life at the Center as promised by our Lord.

Ruben was preceded in death by our Mother, Luisa C. Rodriguez; Father, Joe Rodriguez, Sr. Ruben is survived by his brothers, Robert, Joe, Jr.; Sisters, Gloria, Elizabeth and Bernadette.

Ruben is now at Peace and in the Loving Glory Arms of our Lord in Heaven.
