Obituary
Ruby May Pierce, 94, of Denton, passed away on Monday, September 24, 2012. She was born on August 20, 1918 in Goodlett, TX to Calvin Dawson and Cynthia Millican Dawson. In 1934, she married Estel Leo Pierce, who has preceded her in death.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, September 26, 2012 from 6-8 pm at DeBerry Funeral Directors. The funeral service will be on Thursday, September 27, 2012 at 1:00 pm at the First Baptist Church, 200 South Central Avenue, Knox City, TX 79529. Burial will follow at Gillespie Cemetery in Knox County.
Ruby is survived by her daughters, Edna Hovenkamp, Mary Bolton, and Nina Rosenbusch; and son, William Leo Pierce; one sister; one brother; several grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband; her parents; brother and sisters.
